The implement of land reclamation after the railway construction will play an important role in improving the environment along the railway line. To solve the contradiction between and to dispersion freight and passenger transport, the railway construction developed rapidly. Meanwhile, the environmental impact along the line is increasingly remarkable, especially on the soil ecological environment. The adverse effect comes down to the occupation of land, ecological damage, the soil and water losses, environmental pollution and other problems. The land reclamation after railway construction is urgent, with the rapid development of passenger special line. However, it is not long since China has began to do the land reclamation for temporary railway construction works. From the "Land Management Law" in1998to "Regulation on Compiling Land Reclamation Plan" in2011, all these are aiming at saving farm land. Because of a lack of the operability in some policies, it is difficult to put all these policies into effect. In order to further improve the railway land reclamation system, this thesis discussed the basic management thinking through the impelmation of land reclaimation policies from the construction unit point of view, and by actual case study in Jiading beam yard in Jing-Hu line, to analyse the difficulties they faces in carrying out these policies, and using AHP to analyse the working emphasis. Finally, giving3suggestions on improving land reclamation for temporary railway construction works through the analysisi of the present situation.
