This experiment adopts the methods of dry ash, digestion using acid and microwave digestion as pretreatment methods, adopts the methods of Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption Spectrometry, Atomic Fluorescence Spectrometry and Inductive Coupling Plasma-Optical Emission Spectrometry as determination methods. It optimized the techniques for detecting the Cadmium in peanuts and it detected and analyzed the peanuts samples and soil samples of twelve provinces nationwide. The results can be put as follows preliminarily:1. Based on the characteristics of high oil content and high protein content, this experiment studied the pretreatment methods of samples, optimized their determination methods, and finally established Microwave digestion and Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption Spectrometry as the method of detecting Cadmium in peanuts samples. The method is exact and highly efficient, which could satisfy the requirements of detecting the trace Cadmium contents in peanuts.2. This experiment made a sampling determination of the peanuts in six provinces which were the main producing areas of China, adding up to 830 samples. The analytic results showed that Cadmium contents in every province had significant difference. And the Cadmium content of peanuts in Liao-ning province is the highest.3. This experiment determined the total Cadmium content and the available Cadmium content of soil samples in six main producing provinces of peanuts. The results showed that the Cadmium content in peanuts was mainly influenced by available Cadmium content in soil. Their relations behaved significantly positive, and the correlation coefficient achieved 0.7394.4. The Cadmium contents of peanuts had significant difference in their different parts. This experiment separated peanut's germ, episperm, shell and cotyledon, then detected them respectively, and finally found their Cadmium content's distributing relation in the whole peanut is:Cotyledon> Shell> Episperm> Germ.
