In order to investigate the mechanism of improving photosynthesis of HCO3-,K+ and HSO3-, KHCO3 and NaHSO3 was sprayed on the leaves of the soybean seedlings faces and cons. when the seedling leaves unfold completely.The photosynthetic rate,soluble sugar,chloroplast pingments content,and the activity and content of Rubisco, and the expression of rbcL and rbcS gene were analysed. The results were as follows:1. The content of mRNA in rbcL were increasd in soybean seedlings after spraying KHCO3 and NaHSO3.So HCO3-, K+ and HSO3- could enhance the genetic expression of rbcL, and the effect of HCO3- and K+ is stronger than HSO3-. HCO3-, K+ and HSO3- to a certain extent enhance the genetic expression of rbcS, expression basically the same amount.2. KHCO3 and NaHSO3 could promote the photosynthetic rate singnificantly of the soybean seedlings, and among them HCO3- and HSO3- plays the leading role.3. KHCO3 and NaHSO3 could increase the content of soluble sugar, the dry weight of stems and leaves, thus KHCO3 and NaHSO3 could promote photosynthesis and increase the photosynthetic yield. Spraying KHCO3 and NaHSO3 on the leaves of the soybean seedlings could increase the area of leaves. KHCO3 and NaHSO3 could promote the primary reaction.4. HCO3-, K+ and HSO3-could increase the content of chlorophy a, chlorophy b and total chlorophy, at the same time reduce the ratio of chlorophy a and b,increase the proportion of chlorophy b in total chlorophy. HCO3 have notable promote effect on compose chlorophy b.5. Spraying NaHSO3 and KHC03 could promote light reaction that could supply plenty of energy to dark reaction. HCO3- and HSO3- could improve the electron transport activity of whole photosynthetic chain significantly.6. Spraying NaHSO3 and KHCO3 could promote the ATP activity and photosynthetic electron transfer rate.7. Spraying NaHSO3 and KHCO3 could speed up the process of the dark reactions of photosynthesis and fixed and promote the CO2 fixation and reduction. HSO3-,HCO3- and K+ could promote the activity of Rubisco.8. NaHSO3 and KHCO3 improved the content of soybean seedlings, HCO3-, K+ and HSO3- can promote and improve the content of soluble protein.9. Spraying KHCO3 and NaHSO3 could improve the activity of PEPC and the content of PEPC.
