Abstract/Summary:
Lilium regale is an important breeding parents of modern lily featuring salinity toleranceand anti-virus in resistance breeding, which is mainly distributed in the ecologically fragile areaof the Min River basin. Its resources is, on the one hand, is easily damaged by human factors andgeological disasters, such as earthquake and mudslide, on the other hand, very difficult to restoreonce destroyed, and hence it is urgent to monitor its resource status and dynamic changes so thatwe can preserve the valuable resources in a scientific and effective way.On the basis of investigating7typical natural distribution groups of Lilium regale, Myresearch results are as follows: Collecting the attribute dates and digital images within7distributed groups of Lilium regale; building the DRG, remote sensing image and DEM of Liliumregale investigation area through comprehensive utilization of3S technology; finally, afterquality inspection, importing the dates into ArcGIS system, then, saving them as the background"historical database".Besides, combining the DEM with remote sensing image to conduct simulation test of3Dtopographic maps in ArcGIS, using the3D topographic maps generated of the year2007and2008to discuss the changes of plant communities in Lilium regale investigation area before andafter the Wenchuan earthquake. Because of the limited resolution of remote sensing image, wedon't analyse the dynamic changes of commu-nity properly. So in later studies, it is verynecessary to update background database, especially, update remote sensing images andtopographic maps. Meanwhile, it is necessary to carry out resources review of Lilium regale andcomplete the contrastive analysis of its resources as soon as possible so that we can bettermonitor and preserve the valuable resources. In order to protect the germplasm resources of Lilium regale in numerous ways, we carryout experiment on preservation of Lilium regale germplasm pollen. The results show that:-80℃dry conditions is conducive for the pollen to maintain a longer time to germinate; pollen offlowers after blossoming for1-2days bears higher degree of maturity than flowers justblossomed, which could be preferred in cross-pollination. Under nurse culture conditions, pollengermination rate of the Lilium regale white species, variation with yellow flowers and variationwith yellow flowers,3-lobed stigma is similar to those in the normal culture conditions, amongwhich pollen germination rate of white species and variation with yellow flowers,3-lobed stigmais slightly higher than those in the normal culture conditions and that of variation with yellowflowers is slightly lower than those in the normal culture conditions, So in the cross-pollination,we can try spraying the culture medium with suitable concentration to pollinate in order to verifywhether improve pollination fertility or not.
