| To evaluate the anti-immunological stress effects of TLE and CHPS, weaned piglets were randomly allocated to control group, LPS group, high, medium, low-dosage TLE group high, low-dosage CHPS group. According to the records of daily feed intake by group and the body weights on d 0,d 21 and d 28, average daily gain (ADG), average daily feed intake (ADFI) and the ratio of feed to gain (F/G) were calculated. Piglets in the LPS and supplemented groups were injected intraperitoneally with 100μg/kg·BW LPS on d 21, while control group with normal saline at the same dose. Blood serum samples were obtained for analysis of blood biochemical index (GLU,TG,CHO,BUN,LDH,NOS,SOD,GSH-Px,MDA,AKP,GOT,GPT)at 3 h post-injection.The results suggested:1. Before immunological stress, compared with control group, the ADFI of low-dosage TLE group increased significantly(P<0.05), while that of high, medium-dosage TLE group were not significant(P>0.05), the ADG of each TLE group increased significantly(P<0.05), while among each TLE group were not significant(P>0.05),The F/G of each group were not significant(P>0.05); compared with control group, the ADG,ADFI and F/G of each CHPS group were not significant(P>0.05). Each dosage TLE increased ADG obviously, while have no significant effects on F/G, and low-dosage TLE increased ADFI obviously in weaned pigs.2. After immunological stress, compared with control group, LPS challenge decreased ADG and ADFI of LPS group(P<0.05), Levels of AKP,GPT,TG,CHO,BUN,GLU,MDA in LPS group increased(P<0.05), NOS decreased(P<0.05). LPS challenge decreased growth performance in piglets, increased basal metabolic level and the generation of free radicals, reduced the ability to scavenge free radicals and occured liver damage.3. After immunological stress, compared with LPS group, ADG and ADFI of each TLE and CHPS group increased significantly (P<0.05), levels of AKP,TG,CHO,GLU in low-dosage TLE group decreased significantly (P<0.05), and levels of SOD,GSH-Px increased significantly(P<0.05); levels of GLU in medium,high- dosage TLE group decreased significantly (P<0.05), and levels of SOD,GSH-Px increased significantly (P<0.05). levels of TG,CHO,MDA,GLU in low-dosage CHPS group decreased significantly (P<0.05); levels of AKP,GLU in high- dosage CHPS group decreased significantly (P<0.05). Supplemented TLE,CHPS in basal diet inhibited the decrease in growth performance, the increase basal metabolic level and the generation of free radicals, reduction in the ability to scavenge free radicals and liver damage induced by LPS, showed the anti-immunological stress performance in certain extent. |
