Application And Research Of Ornamental Fruit Trees In The Urban Gardens Of Baoji

The ornamental fruit tree, which is a part of the landscape, is a garden plant with multiple values. Research on the configuration and application on the gardens has great significance. It not only can increase the types of urban garden plant's application, but also can satisfy the demands on space construction and artistic need of urban garden. The research has important theoretical significance on the development of urban garden. Also it possesses high practical value and social benefit. In this study, ornamental fruit trees were taken as the research object. The application situation of ornamental fruit trees on urban garden in Baoji was the research content. Finally, the planning scheme about the application of ornamental fruit trees on urban garden in Baoji was proposed. The main results of this study are as follows:1. The concept, ecological habit, development, application situation at home and abroad, application of ornamental fruit trees were expounded in detail by means of consulting literature. The natural conditions and socioeconomic status of Baoji were deeply understood. Also the present situation of green landscape in Baoji was surveyed and analyzed. The problems were pointed out and the important significance of ornamental fruit trees in the urban development was put forward.2. The types of ornamental fruit trees, the planting modes and application forms of garden were summarized based on the investigation and reference on application of ornamental fruit trees in urban garden in Baoji. 81 species (except some variants) of planting resources of ornamental fruit trees which can be plant in Baoji were summarized including 25 families and 53 genera.3. The main problem on application of ornamental fruit trees on urban garden in Baoji was analyzed through field survey and questionnaire. And the countermeasures and suggestions in order to plant the ornamental fruit trees into the city were put forward.4. " System planning of garden green space in Baoji city (2005 ~ 2020)" was introduced. On this basis, according to the principle of landscape ecological planning and combining the principle and method of garden design, this paper puts forward an optimum proposal of landscape ecological planning suitable for the development in Baoji based on the premise that the plan guide the application of ornamental fruit trees. In order to build an urban landscape with landmark in Baoji and a ecological environment which can attract more living beings. A new image will be set up which is ecological city likes Xanadu.In addition, the thesis discussed the landscape value, cultural value, economic value and ecological benefits of the ornamental fruit trees. The multiple values and benefit of landscaping using ornamental fruit trees were pointed out. Benefit factors of each side need to be considered comprehensively and applied ingeniously during building of garden landscape. And perfect landscape ecological environment and landmark landscape should be created following the configuration principle of the landscape ecology and aesthetic.
