? ? In recent years, more and more people focus on the applications of rare earth elements (REEs) on crops. And there are many achievements in this area. By the reason of the rare earth elements will promote the growth, the development, the production as well as the quality of crops, In the interest of if the superior quality GanNan navel orange has relation to the high content REEs in soil, we determined the content of REEs in GanNan navel orange, leaf and soil, and inquired into the relation of the content of REEs and the superior quality GanNan navel orange.The influences of Rare earth elements on the growth of crops have been reviewed in chapter 1. The rare earth elements promote the growth, the development, the production as well as the quality of crops mainly because of enhanced photosynthesis, membrane potential, H+ transmembrane gradient, the content and transfer of internal secretion, as well as the ability of resisting environment stress of crops. And the problem about toxicology and security of REEs has been reviewed. It has some significance for promoting the utilization of rare earth elements and offering the possibility on controlling the output and quality of crops. In chapter 2 we firstly evaluated the quality of navel orange which growth at the fittest area named XinFeng in GanNan. We determined the physical and chemic quality of GanNan navel orange including the color of seed capsule, shape, weight, volume, specific gravity, thickness of seed capsule, diameter, sugar content, pH value and fluorescent intensity of juice. The result indicated that the color of seed capsule is orange mostly; the shape, weight, volume, thickness of seed capsule and diameter of navel orange has discrepancy individually; whereas the specific gravity of orange is has little discrepancy individually; sugar content of juice between 12% and 15%; pH value of juice between 3.60 and 4.60; with the time of fresh navel orange juice stored in the congealer with 8℃extend, its pH value, sugar content, and fluorescent intensity all show a slight increase and then gradually reduction.In chapter 3, we have determined the content of REEs in GanNan navel orange using ICP-AES, including La,Ce,Nd,Sm,Eu,Tm,Y band Y . We also determining the content of REEs in the soil and leaf of GanNan navel orange using ICP-MS. The result indicated that the distribution pattern of REEs is in the order as soil > leaf ; older the navel orange tree lower the content of REEs in GanNan navel orange; higher the topography of navel orange tree lower the content of REEs in navel orange; higher the content of REEs in GanNan navel orange thicker the seed capsule of it; higher the content of REEs in GanNan navel orange higer the specific of it; higher the content of REEs in GanNan navel orange higer the content of suger in its juice; higher the content of REEs in GanNan navel orange lower the pH value of its juice; GanNan navel orange according with the GB requlated the limit content of REEs in fruits.In chapter 4, we extracted the chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b from fresh navel orange leaves, and determined the content of REEs in them using ICP-MS . It is offered basis on more research on the influences of REEs on the quality of navel orange.
