The female healthy SD rats were selected to evaluated the effects of lipopoly-saccharide(LPS) and cysteamine on the small molecular metabolite.21 female SD rats were assigned to one of three groups(C, T1, T2) with 7 replicates randomly, based on body weight,each has 1 rat.150mg/kg BW of cysteamine were intragastric administration to T2 group and the equal dose of PS were administration to T1 group and C group as the same way within twice every week. On day 26 of the experiment, peritoneal injection of LPS to T1 and T2, the equal dose of PS were administration to C group as the same way after 10 min of the peritoneal injection, the urine(0-8h, 8-24h) and the serum sample were collected and chose 5 urine samples and 5 serum samples for determination. NMR was used for the samples and PCA or OSC-PLS were used to data analysis.The result showes that the, enhanced the concentrations of glucose, citric acid and a-ketoglutarate in urine and glucose, lactic acid in serum significantly, implied LPS stimulate the glycometabolism and TCA cycle. LPS afeected lipometabolism, signi-ficantly decreased the concentration ofβ-hydroxybutyric acid, acetoacetate in serum and increased the concentration of taurochorate in urine. LPS affected the nitrogen metabolism, significantly decreased the concentration of creatinine and enhanced the concentration of creatine(8-24h) in urine; Moreover, LPS changed the microbial metabolites, decreased benzoylgly cine concentration in urine.CS changed metabolites of rats that were affected by LPS. the concentrations of citric acid and a-ketoglutarate in urine decreased significantly, and glucose, lactic acid in serum and glucose in urine increased. CS has effect on lipometabolism, sig-nificantly decreased the concentration of acetoacetate and lipoprotein in serum and taurochorate in urine. CS had influenced on the nitrogen metabolism, increased the concentration of creatine(8-24h) and DMG in urine and glycine in serum and urine significantly, alanine in serum decreased. CS changed the microbial metabolites, enhancd the concentration of TMAO in serum and DMA in urine significantly.We concluded that LPS stress has regard on changing the concentration of small molecular metabolite and inhibiting the microbial metabolism. CS inhibited the LPS tress and stimuluated microbial metabolism, enhanced the ability of anti-stress of organism.
