Based on the the hilly areas of central sichuan, determination of the use of simulated rainfall and laboratory analysis methods were used in the research for slope land.Aiming at the need of construction of upper Yangtze river ecological problems and regional agricultural sustainable development, redistributions of rainfall by different growth of maize canopy were researched, and characteristics of soil and water loss under maize and tillage methods were processed to control regional soil and water loss, Coordinate regional land use, improve construction of upper Yangtze river ecological. The main results were as follows:(1) Seedling-jointing stage, the average of canopy interception, stemflow and throughfall amounts were6.59%,15.68% and 77.73%, respectively.Jointing-heading stage, the average of canopy interception, stemflow and throughfall amounts were 10.94%,54.91% and 34.15%,respectively.Heading -maturity stage, the average of canopy interception, stemflow and throughfall amounts were11.24%,47.00% and 41.75%, respectively.Maturity-harvest stage, the average of canopy interception, stemflow and throughfall amounts were 5.31%,23.22% and 71.46%, respectively.(2) Under rainfall intensity 1.00mm·min-1, the average of canopy interception, stemflow and throughfall amounts were 8.03%,36.78% and 55.19%,respectively.Under rainfall intensity 1.50mm·min-1, the average of canopy interception, stemflow and throughfall amounts were 9.56%,35.38% and 55.07%, respectively. Under rainfall intensity 2.00mm·min-1,the average of canopy interception, stemflow and throughfall amounts were7.99%,33.45% and 58.57%,respectively.Interception,stemflow and throughfall amounts were statistically significant positive correlated with rain intensity. Interception and stemflow amounts were statistically significant positive correlated with leaf area, while throughfall amounts had statistically significant negative relationship with leaf area.(3) Arbitrary under different slope and rainfall intensity, sediment and runoff loss of the bare land was higher than flat cultivation and Contour cultivation. Sediment loss of the down slope cultivation was higher than flat cultivation and Contour cultivation.Under 20°slope and rainfall intensity 1.00mm·min-1, down slope cultivation was higher than bare land.(4) Coefficient of Soil Conservation of maize in flat cultivation, down slope cultivation and Contour cultivation is 0.29,0.61 and 0.25,respectively.Different district had different crop factor.
