For selection of new TGMS Lines or superior combinations in rice and establishment of high-yielding seed production technical measures, TGMS Line Pei'ai 64S, the large-scale popularization on agricultural production, was used as control in the experiment, and the days from sowing to heading(DSH),agronomic traits,flowering and outcrossing characteristics and heterosis strength of new TGMS Line 245S,246S,247S and 248S selected by breeders of Yichun college were researched. The results showed that 245S and 248S have better comprehensive characters, including lower PH,moderate growth period,concentration of flowering time,larger surface areas of stigma and cross combinations with stronger heterosis, but they also have some shortcomings such as weaker tillering ability,smaller open spikelets angle and higher rate of panicles enclosure and so on; 246S and 247S will be cleaned out because of relatively poor comprehensive characters,lower percentage of stigma exterior,smaller surface areas of stigma,higher rate of panicles enclosure,lower seed setting rate and yield per plant of cross combinations and so on.
