| Stand structure as an important part of stand characteristics is the foundation of forest research on forest management and forest health evaluation. Spatial structure as an important aspect of stand structure largely renewed the traditional structure on the study defects of the spatial information, which is an important complement to structural studies. The natural Cyclobalanopsis myrsinaefolia (BI.) Oerst forest in Mangdang mountain was selected as the study site, and seven plots were setup. Each wood in the plots was tallied and located by using compass and measuring tape. The species composition, diameter distribution, tree height distribution of the stand were described from the local and global, and the structures of forest were analyzed with spatial structural parameters. Finally, the overall structure of comprehensive different indexes were evaluated with AHP. These results will provide a rational basis for management and utilization. The main results of this study are as follows:(1) This forest has a wide range and complex component of tree species. The seedling regeneration in the understory was well. Study area stands with a wide range of diameter distribution showed the anti-"J" line or similar anti-"J" shaped distribution. In this forest, different developmental stages exist, which was in line with the natural forestry trait. The tree height distribution is showing the Mountain-shaped curve. The average forestry layers was well. The stand had a better space utilization.(2) The natural forest were analyzed by using the spatial structure parameters. The resuit showed that the tree distribution pattern was showing a aggregated distribution. The stand had a high degree of mixed stands, a high degree of species isolation, which was a typical mixed forests. Stand structure unit didn't show obvious advantages and disadvantages of wood, the overall showed a mean state. The study expressed the structure distribution of the intra-specific and interspecies, provided the structure distribution information of a natural spatial.(3) The analysis of the aggregation index showed that in the study area the forest was showing a aggregated distribution. More trees gathered in the small scales. The study of the different developmental stages and changes showed that small diameter wood has a more strong aggregate distribution. With the increasing age, the distribution of forest stand showed trees are trend to randomly distribute.Relying on forest structure factor, from the level of community succession and disturbance, related indicators were select to evaluate the natural grade and the urgency management. Analysis showed that the study area of the natural forest has a higher grade, locates in the 5th standard class, belong to native secondary state. The urgency evaluation grades were general. So the forest structure of this area can be identified reasonable. Under the appropriate management it can achieve a sustainable forest. In the short term, large-scale forest structure adjustment doesn't need to carry out. With the development of tourism, humans' disturbance and destruction would become larger. This needs us to strengthen the management and protection of the forest in order to achieve sustainable conservation and utilize. |
