With fossil fuels declining and environmental issues becoming more serious, theexploitation of renewable energy has become a very urgent task. By the biomass energyconversion technology, the renewable biomass of low utilization can be converted to cleanand high-quality fuel which can be an effective substitution for conventional fossil fuels. Thisconversion technology has received more and more attention and the technology of biomasspyrolysis liquefaction oil has become one of the hottest topics of research. Existing reactorsdomestic and international have advantages and disadvantages, but the deciding factors ofpros and cons are heating rate and material flow patterns. Structural principles of existingreactor generally use heat transfer carrier (such as fine sand) to heat the materials, and use gasmedium (N2) to transfer materials. Most of the existing reactors' heat transfer of material is byconvection and radiation, followed by conduction, with low heat transfer efficiency. Thematerial particles needs to be pushed by carrier gas (N2),which increases the separationdifficulty in the pyrolysis products collection, and increases the difficulty of the design of theproduction equipment with continuous process and industrialization. In order to overcome thisweakness, we do it as follow.Firstly, we develop a new set of production process and equipment. This new set ofproduction processes and equipment offer heat to materials mainly by conduction, andfollowed by convection and radiation, in this way the materials can be heated thoroughly andefficiently, and can be applied to continuous production. This device, with a production rateof20kg/h, mainly includes eccentric main reaction system, feeding system, heating system,gas-solid separation and condensation system.Secondly, this paper formulates a pyrolysis process, carries out orthogonal experimentusing bamboo powder as the material, and determine the optimal parameter combination ofworking conditions in this pyrolysis reactor. Finally, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) is used to test the pyrolysisproducts of the bamboo powder, determine its chemical composition. The results show thatthe products of the bamboo powder, which is pyrolyzed and liquefied by the eccentricbiomass pyrolysis reactor, mainly contain benzene, phenols, esters, ethanol and organic acids.
