Research and application degree level in composite materials is an important embodiment of a national science and technology development level especially in aviation industry. Various kinds of advanced aircraft are closely together with advanced composite technology. Composite technology is a strategic key technology. The high speed developed aerospace industry put forward more and more high request in composite material. An increasing number of components and parts will be replaced by composites products. So there is higher and higher request in quality of composite material. Hot pressing molding is one of the main manufacturing methods in composite structure. The high pressure kettle for composite material forming is the equipment which aimed at polymer composite material composite process feature. When the material molding, uniformity temperature and pressure make the material in the kettle solidify. So we can acquire the high quality,complex and big area end product.The pressure kettle forming technology is to put the composite material, honeycomb sandwich structures or cementing structure in the vacuum bag on the mould, and then put it in the pressure kettle. In the vacuum or anti-vacuum state. Through wanning, pressure%insulation(temperature or high temperature), temperature and pressure relief processes, make material a need to shape and quality. This paper introduces the principle and application of the composites forming pressure kettle.(1) Overall design of pressure kettle. In the part of overall design of the kettle,it mainly introduce the composition of the pressure kettle which include work kettle body system, parameter measurement and control system, air auxiliary system. And introduce the working principle and technical requirements. Put forward the temperature and pressure setting requirements. The basis of design temperature should be in the operation of pressure vessel design under the condition of the corresponding operation temperature, so the design pressure and temperature can make the vessel withstand the most demanding of operation conditions.(2) the kettle body design. In the kettle body design part, it determine the basic parameters of the structure of pressure kettle, design the structure of kettle body, design the cover door of kettle body, design the sealing structure, accessories'design and selection. (3) The transmission design of the kettle. In the transmission design department,The main task is to selected track, the small car's transmission design. Drum rotating drive the wire rope, wire rope traction car to move. Design the lifting mechanism out of the kettle. Lift platform's movement is push by hydraulic cylinder.This paper use Pro/E and ANSYS software to establish the3d model of the pressure kettle. Make it dynamic simulate, build it finite element model and do the stress analysis to check the deformation of the kettle. Get the displacement deformation figure and stress distribution of the kettle. Finally, analysis and evaluate the result.
