Airborn Synthetic Aperture Radar is a Emerging detection method, Its all-weather, the long-distance range, the high resolution's characteristic has decided it in the military reconnaissance, the remote sensing survey, the disaster reduction disaster prevention and so on various domains widespread application. The Synthetic Aperture Radar on the UAVs has been a research focus with the UAVs'development.This article take the unmanned aerial vehicle platform as the application background, take sidelong glance condition under improvement R-D image formation algorithm as main research direction. Using the FPGA and PowerPc to design the realtime imaging processor. Resolve the high data passing rate problem. Implement many module of algorithm with FPGA by the pure softmode broken. The technic of digit signal processing is developing so fast, they will bring new method of imaging processing, with the top speed to deveolp ASIC technic, in the near future, more and more SAR radar will use it.
