Abstract/Summary:
At present, a new structure of multi-layer frame-bent industrial plants appears in the south of Jiangsu Province, China. At home and abroad, experts and scholars have done a lot of work in the single-bent industrial plants, but there are few theoretical achievements in thses multi-layer frame-bent structure industrial plants, the analysis of energy dissipation and seismic reduction in specially. And our regulations are not on the content of these structures. The theoretical research falls far behind the practical engineering application. Therefore, study of the energy dissipation and seismic reduction to the new multi-layer frame-bent structure of industrial plants has important practical significance.In this paper, dynamic time history calculate and analysis of the new structure of multi-layer frame-bent industrial plants is done by using ANSYS finite element software, and some conclusions are got:1. According to characteristics of the new structure of multi-layer frame-bent industrial plants and accounting the economy, the new S-type dampers is been developed for this structure, and its performance test is also done. Its test skeleton curve and the curve of finite element simulation are also got.2. In frequently occurred earthquake and seldom occurred earthquake, large data analysis and comparison are done between the original structure of the new structure of multi-layer frame-bent industrial plants and the structure that all nodes are installed S-type dampers. After installation of dampers, the structure of horizontal displacement, angels of story drift and base shear of the column are all reduced with a significant damping effect.3. Compared to the two programs that all nodes were installed the S-type dampers and the plates at both ends of each longitudinal beam were installed the S-type dampers, the damping effect of the program that the bottom two layers were installed the S-type declined a little, but it has the advantage that it only sets the precast prestressed double-T plate dampers, no need to set precast prestressed saddle plate dampers and the number reduce 1/5 compared to all nodes'.4. Compared to the all nodes', the damping effect of the structure that the plates at both ends of each longitudinal beam were installed the S-type dampers reduces a little, but it has obvious effect compared to the original structure, and the number of the dampers is reduced 1/3. Therefore, the S-type dampers install on the plates that at both ends of each longitudinal beam are more reasonable and effective dampers layout scheme to this structure.
