As a non-core components, engine accessories, include many types, support and promote the engine's performance. In general, engine accessories is installed in the engine through its bracket. So designing a perfect bracket is a important work in the engine development. In current time, most finite analysis of the engine accessories just contain the analysis under static load. Only a few papers reported the dynamic analysis. Fatigue analysis is more less. But engine accessory brackets work in a complex vibrational environments, the majority of failures due to impact and fatigue. So the impact and fatigue issues should be showed in the finite element analysis. In this paper, the analysis of the air compressor bracket is a complete and systematic one.The continuous bolt fracture of the air compress bracket on engine occurred, when JMC's engine development dept. research and development its new engine. To find the cause of bolt fracture, a detailed finite element analysis is reported in this paper. it included modal, static, dynamic and life-repeats analysis. Based on the results, several solutions have been proposed. compared with each one the optimal solution is determined and it proved to be an effective program through the engine durability test.
