Traction drive system is an important part of high-speed train. The content of the thesis comes from a subtopic of the National 863 projects, based on the structure of traction drive system of CRH3 EMU and part of the data of High-speed test train produced by CNR Tangshan Railway Vehicle Co., Ltd, modeling and simulating the traction drive system of EMU.The traction drive system is established by MATLAB/Simulink and simulated in various working conditions, the results match testing results well. Predictive current control was adopted in the rectifier circuit; Predictive current control has the advantage of simple structure, better dynamic and static response, and has great potential for development.The inductance value of AC side of rectifier circuit and the inductance value of the secondary filter circuit has been optimized. The inductance value of AC side should meet the requirements of the four-quadrant operation of the rectifier circuit; the inductance value of the secondary filter circuit should meet the requirements of eliminating secondary ripple.Finally, the reason of harmonics in rectifier circuit is analyzed, dual-rectifier is introduced and simulated, and the results show that dual-rectifier can suppress the harmonics of primary side of transformer effectively.The work in the paper and the model established has an auxiliary effect to the experimental tests of high-speed test train.
