The 110kV Smart Substation Construction Based On IEC 61850 Protocol

Smart substation is the important node in smart grid, which is the key to control and operation of the smart grid, therefore it is a very important role to smart grid construction and development.The author has studied the key technology of smart substation, including intelligent equipment, IEC 61850 Protocol, GOOSE, has made some achievements.Firstly, according to the short-coming of conventional substation, the author summarizes it's structure and characteristics, introduces the smart substation construction principle, elaborate the smart substation engineering application value.Secondly, on the basis of the previous research, the author, who act as the relay protection director in Yinzhou Power Supply Bureau, participated in building Ningbo's first smart substation, which first time used the GOOSE jump technique, networking standby power automatic input device, programmed operation, on-line transformer oil chromatography monitoring technology etc. Secondly, on the basis of the previous research, the author, who act as the relay protection director in Yinzhou Power Supply Bureau, participated in building Ningbo's first smart substation, which first time used the GOOSE jump technique, networking standby power automatic input device, programmed operation, on-line transformer oil chromatography monitoring technology etc. Combined with the engineering practice, the author summarizes the smart substation design principles, and analyzes the matters needing attention of the smart substation design, installation commissioning, operation and maintenance process.Finally, based on the case of 110kV Yunlin substation, verificated the advanced nature, reliability of smart substation. And also, analyzed it's present technical difficulties, development direction and it's future.
