Power transformer is one of the most important electric equipment in power system. The safe running of transformer is of great importance for reliable running of the power system. Due to the subject by the electromagnetism fore caused by short circuit current, defective manufacturing process and incorrect transportation, winding, as the most important constituent of transformer, tend to be deformed and which can not be restored. It will to be the incipient for the safe running of power system and even maybe cause disaster accident. so the online diagnose of the condition of the transformer is of great importance for good running of power system.The present state of the transformer windings deformation detecting is discussed, especially, the method of Low Voltage Impulse, Frequency Response Analysis short-current Reactance and Vibration Detection.The transformer short-circuit reactance is affected by winding geometry and spatial location. When winding deforming and moving, accordingly, the short circuit will be changed. So monitoring the transformer short-circuit is an effective method to defective the winding deformation. In this paper, relationship of winding geometry and short-circuit reactance are meticulously analyzed, and get the on-line calculation method of transformer shot-current reactance, anti-interference method, also established transformer winding deformation diagnosis system,As for the online diagnose of transformer winding based on short-circuit reactance, there is no ripe theory, especially, the diagnosis strategy. In this paper author apply the time series theory to diagnose the transformer winding deformation. The method and procedure by which to get the transformer time series mold and how to use the mould to diagnose the condition of power transformer is analyzed. At last, the diagnosis method was verified by computer simulation and get satisfied result.
