In this paper, the subsystem of the front door of a car in "Independent Innovation Capability of Chinese High-level Car Construction" projects is studied. Its new design and performance are verified. This project application is intended to replace the door subsystem materials and processes, in order to achieve light weight and enhance body parts performance purposes.The main studies of this paper are described as follows:(1) Consolidating aluminum material properties and forming process, replacing door parts material and selecting its manufacturing process.(2) Checking the feasibility of the design and manufacturing on doors and shape for ergonomics regulations.(3) Representing the door structure scheme with a typical cross-section structure and completing the three-dimensional data model of the aluminum door structure.(4) On the basis of three-dimensional model of the aluminum door, establishing the stiffness finite element model of the aluminum door structure, and describing the process of modeling methods in detail.(5) Analyzing all aluminum doors'stiffnesses and optimizing the door structure scheme according to the results.This paper is a project of casting the door design process in detail, with the general design of the door also considerable differences between the above description of the basis of the above in the structural design using finite element analysis used to verify the stiffness of the door to ensure the design reliability and practicability of the project, greatly reducing the design cycle, improve development efficiency. After casting on the project design has some significance.
