Bitumen road milling machine is main maintenance reconstruction machine of highway, bridges, roads, etc. Moreover, the study of domestic milling machine is start later and manufacture of the performance is common. Therefore, the study of road milling machine, especially the study of road milling machine's planning-milling rotor, becomes the urgent matter. This paper use the road milling machine's planning-milling drum as the main research object, form working parameters, structure parameters'selection, cutting tool wear's analysis, exercise stress and other aspects, make analysis and discuss.According to the main purpose and characteristics of the road milling machine, and all kinds of classification approach and main structure composition, analyses the current milling machinery's domestic and foreign development situation.Analyze the structure, main working methods, work characteristics and cutting tool's institutions of asphalt pavement milling machine's planning-milling rotor. Analyses and summarize the principles of road milling machine's planning-milling rotor's cutting tools' layout. According to the principles of the cutting tool layout, determine several main layout parameters computational formula and cutting tools'installation Angle, analyses cutting tool wear reasons and the effective way to prevent abnormal wear.According to the analyses of force of the cutting tool, establish mathematical model. And using MATLAB software to analyze cutting tool's geometric parameters and the force, based entirely on fact, select the empirical parameters for the constraints of force of the cutting tool, optimize the design of the planning-milling rotor, and meet the design parameters'optimal value. And according to the mathematical model of cutting tool's planning-milling resistance and friction, and the various parameters'influence on the stress, make drawing curvilinear figure analysis.Using the FULL analysis method of ANSYS software's transient dynamics, analyze 3D modeling and transient kinetic for the cutting tools. Through cutting tools'equivalent stress cloud picture and equivalent displacement map, get the maximum force position and maximum deformation. According to the theoretical analysis, prove the rationality of tool parameters selection, and provide process parameters and data support for the tool design.
