Proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) is one of the new energy which has the most potential for development, it has many advantages such as high-performance, low noise and low pollution, so it has been the research focus for the national experts in the past few decades. Since temperature has an important impact on the power generation performance of the air-cooled PEMFC system, at first the temperature model of the stack is established in this paper. And then a PID feedback controller based on feedforward is designed. Finally according to the system miniaturization requirements, this paper design a kind of high-performance and small measurement and control system based on DSP.The main tasks completed in this paper are as follows:(1) This paper analyze the composition of the air-cooled PEMFC system, and then give the overall solution of the measurement and control system.(2) According to the law of conservation of energy and the electrochemical principles, this paper use the MATLAB software to establish the temperature model of the stack, and design a PID feedback controller based on feedforward according to the optimum operating relationship of the temperature and load which is fit for the experimental data. The simulation results show that the effect of the temperature controller is satisfactory.(3) This paper takes the high-performance DSP chip TMS320F2812 as the core of the control system, and design the hardware and the software of the system which can complete some functions such as data acquisition, temperature control and USB communications. The hardware circuit debugging results and test procedures show that the measurement and control system's hardware and software are reasonable, and the system can be applied to the actual system.(4) This paper design A PC software, and the air-cooled PEMFC system for training is also taken. The experimental results show that the system can complete the function of measurement and control, and make the PEMFC work in the optimum operating temperature point stably.
