As long as the culture strategy and culture industry of our country developing, the city culture meets a building high wave. In one hand, people lived in high speed developing period makes a higher new quest. In another hand, culture buildings closely connecting with people's aesthetic attitude and mental change, which makes them enhance the quality of substance, mental, feeling about culture buildings and cause the design of culture buildings facing higher challenge. So the design of culture buildings in aesthetic circumstance has become a very important task which wealth to study.Based on studying the basic data from local and abroad, this article choose the design of culture building as the studying object in aesthetic angle to explore the new way of the design of culture building under the present age's aesthetic characters for the purpose. Though analyzing the design characters, basic elements, representing ways of culture buildings, this article tries to combine the aesthetic thoughts in present day with cases studying to explore the symbolizing ways and design elements of culture buildings.This article separate the culture building design elements into three kinds:shape expression of culture buildings, artistic expression of culture buildings, signification expression of culture buildings. This means when designing the culture buildings, we can get vision sense of beauty though building sculpt, materials, colors and lighting. We can also get sharing of beauty and rhythm of beauty by following the space structure ways which organizing and arranging the communion and rhythm and pursue the expression of inventing thoughts and artistic about culture building. As to the symbolizing ways, this article starts from plane, space and entity carrier to conclude five expression ways——contrasting, enduing, reducing, metamorphosing and evolving. In the end, this article choose Suzhou museum as an example to explore the real using of the design elements and symbolizing ways in the aesthetic angle and gather up all the theories to express the main point and deficiency of this article.
