With the development of the electricity industry, the demand of coal is increasing annually. According to the pricing of coal mechanism, most of the power plants purchase the coal that with low price and high volatile matter, the coal that burned in the boiler differs with the designed coal, the volatile matter is as much as 30%, leading to exploding of pulverize system, bring about damaged equipment, threaten the person safty and production safty.In order to improve the explode prevented capacity of pulverize system, reform the method of operation of pulverize system with inert dry medium, dry the coal with inert hot flue gas of low oxygen instead of hot air and adjust the temperature of pulverizer with cool flue gas. Extracting hot fuel gas from both economizer, Extracting cool flue gas from the flue duct that behind the desulphurization, the combined the hot and the cool flue gas in a certain percentage, increasing the pressure by the flue gas fan, then delivered to hot air pipe of pulverize system, combined with hot air in order to dry and deliver coal. Relative to hot air, the combined gas is inert medium, can reduces the oxygen content of pulverize system, enhance the explode prevented capacity of pulverize system without affection for the dry load and the ventilate load.This reformed project is put into practice, the result show that no explode accidents occur when the temperature of pulverizer is under 95℃,the performance of explode prevented is significantly enhanced. The concentration of NOx reduces to 20mg/Nm~3,obtaining good environmental benefits.
