Moving-iron linear oscillatiory motor(LOA) is a new structure of linear motor, compared to the conventional rotary motor, it leaves out complex transferred mechanisms which reducing the mechanical loss consequently makes efficiency greatly improved, so LOA is widely used in some special occasions. LOA is used as an actuator for short stroke reciprocating motion. It has been applied to various fields such as: vibrators, air compressors, and stirling cycle refrigerator, and more recently, peristaltic pump.This thesis takes the moving-iron LOA as the researching object, based on a great deal of domestic and overseas literature, a new type of moving-iron linear oscillatory motor(LOA) with two separated stators is developed. The dynamics and static characteristics, analysis, designing, optimization and control strategy are studied by combining theoretical research, computer simulation with experimental study. The main study works of this thesis include:1. Based on the analysis and study of a LOA with two separated stators, a moving-iron LOA with two separated stators is designed, and its'working principle and design methods is analyzed.2. Employing the equivalent magnetic circuit method, the linear mathematical model of the moving-iron LOA with two separated stators is concluded, and the electromagnetic force formulation are deduced, Finally using Runge-Kutta to obtain the numerical solution of differential equations.3. Using finite element method, electromagnetic field and motor performance parameters of this LOA is calculated. The finite element model of the LOA by using ansys's software is established, the LOA's magnetic field lines and magnetic flux density distribution are obtained, the thrust-displacement curve and current-displacement curve are also obtained.4. The mathematical model and simulation model of the LOA under the different load conditions are established and analyzed. 5. A prototype is made, and it's static characteristics is simulated and researched.
