The main subject of a cutting board sterilizer in the design development process, including the introduction of virtual prototyping technology, and made some applied research.First, based on ergonomics, and market research methods of cutting board made a demand sterilizer scientific research and analysis, from security, economy, fitness, aesthetics and other aspects of the chopping block design sterilizer principle, to establish the design direction and requirements, draw concept sketches.Based on virtual prototype technology, and according to sketches and size requirements, the use of hybrid modeling technology, to create a cutting board CATIA platform sterilizer three-dimensional virtual prototype model, and establish a relationship between the assembly components, while the theory of modeling, model data collection, modeling methods were studied.CAE-based technology, in the model were carried out on the basis of experience and evaluation of the appearance of size, load simulation, ultraviolet light angle, and other aspects of virtual assembly simulation, designed to provide quality assurance. According to the simulation results, the cutting board made a virtual prototype sterilizer optimal adjustment to make design more reasonable. While the establishment of virtual prototyping and simulation process, manufacturing and take full account of the actual user needs and other factors, to ensure that cutting board sterilizer product manufacturability and humane.In this paper, virtual prototyping technology to effectively achieve the design modeling and simulation, the method applies to both product design and development of small appliances, also be applied to other large industrial equipment product development process, so this methodology and conclusions of home appliances development designed to provide a proven theory, methods and techniques.
