The Study Of The Construction Strategy Of Dalian Port Sea-Rail Combined Transportation

Ever since twenty-first Century, China's economy blending into economic globalization increasingly, the foreign trade growth rapidly which promoting China's container transportation develops rapidly. The North-east region is the major economic hinterland of Dalian Port. In a long time, its main goods of import and export are resource products and large industrial equipments, which not fit for transport by container, and mainly transport by road bulk transportation and rail bulk transportation. Meanwhile, in the world, the sea-rail combined transportation has shown its unique advantage and become an important model and the direction of future development of global logistics, which because of high efficiency, low logistics costs, low carbon emissions and some other reasons.This paper focus on the container sea-rail combined transportation which is the hot topic of international logistics and transportation. This paper firstly introduces the basic concepts and theories of sea-rail combined transportation. Secondly, this paper summarizes the general situation and successful experience of sea-rail combined transportation in the main container ports of Europe, United States and that of domestic ports, through the comparative analysis to discuss the main problem existing in development of sea-rail combined transportation in china. After that, this paper emphasis on the research and analysis on Dalian Port's internal and external environment, specific practice and experiments, existing problems, advantages and disadvantages of future development. Finally, based on the above analysis, this paper put forward the construction strategy and security measure to future development of sea-rail combined transportation of Dalian Port.The content of this paper mainly divides into the development strategy and significance, the internal and external environment, the advantages and disadvantages, specific strategy of development and so on several parts. The ultimate aim of this paper is:firstly, hoping to find out the gap of developing sea-rail combined transportation between domestic and foreign port. Secondly, hoping to provide the experience that can draw lessons from dalian port to the other domestic ports; Thirdly, hoping that the views and strategies of this paper can actively further promote the sea-rail combined transportation of Dalian Port.
