The Research on Static Var Synchronous Compensator for Smart Distribution Network(DSTATCOM) is a technology for Var compensation proposed in the condition of constructing the sturdy smart grid. This paper has summarized the features of DSTATCOM adapted for Smart Grid associated with the constructing destine of China, based on the present research state about var compensation technology in demostic and abroad.The voltage source two-level three phase inverter is choosed to serve as the toporlogy of DSTATCOM in this paper by comparing it with the current source two-level three phase inverter. This paper has builded the dymatic mathmatic model of DSTATCOM based on differention formula by analyzing the physical charistics of DSTATCOM with the circuit theory, and get the approximate steady mathmatic model of DSTATCOM according to the state parameter, further to get the relation between reactive current and the phase difference between the output-voltage ofDSTATCOM and the voltage of grid. According to the steady reverse model of DSTATCOM, the unlinear control strategy with double variable based on inverse model of DSTATCOM is proposed by this paper based on analyzing the vary rule of it's relevant state variables of during the start process of DSTATCOM, reverse system control method and unlinear PID method. The reference value of reactive current used for the unlinear reactive power compensation control strategy with double-variables is defined by deducing the id-iq measurement method based on instaneous reactive theory.The well static and dynamic performance of this control strategy is testified by the simulate experiment and physical experiment in last.According to the circui theory, the factor of generating the voltage sag is analyzed, and the suppressing voltage sag control method that the load active current was taken into consideration at the same time is proposed and simulated for extending the function of DSTATCOM.This topic for study has developed the hardware and software of controller used for DSTATCOM based on the TMS320C28343,which is a taye of TI's existing high-performance floating-point digital processor. A safe voltage rate physical system used for verifying the control algorithm has been established based on twenty volt direct current steady source, Optoelectronic Coupled Devices(TPL521) and RC filter.
