With the excellent thermodynamic properties, including the large specific power output, the high thermal efficiency and the low emissions of NOx and so on, the CRGT cycle (Chemically recuperated gas turbine) has become one of the most important methods to solve the energy crisis and environmental problems at this stage. Based on the chemical-regenerative experiment table, this paper put emphasis on the research for the performance characteristics of water system. In this article, the following jobs are completed:(1) All the homeostatic mathematical model for the components including preheater, saturer and flash evaporator for the water system were established. Based on this step, the paper set up the partial differential coefficient equations for the dynamic mathematical models of the preheater and saturer. Then the state equations could be given. For various components, the saturer had the maximum thermal inertia and it would be steady in a longer time.(2) The research on dynamic performance of the various components were completed according to the simulation models which were established by the dynamic mathematical models. The Programs were written by S function. S-function was called for dynamic performance simulations for each component in Simulink. The responses of the export parameters for the import parameters were given.(3) The paper also built the water system's overall simulation model and simulated the dynamic performance of the water system. In Simulink, the various components of the module were assembled. The research on the startup characteristics, the parameter changes of import and the pressure changes in flash evaporator were completed. We found that for the variable operating conditions in water system, because of the small pressure changes in flash evaporator, the influence of the circulating water inlet flow was greater than the pressure changes in flash evaporator. In addition, it would easily cause the system shock or overheat. Therefore, we should comprehensively regulate the system according to the variable operating conditions given in this paper.
