| Gas turbine has many advantages, been widely used in many areas. But the intake air temperature is relatively high, gas turbine performance degradation. There are many methods to reduce intake air temperature, including wet compression that is an effective means. Wet compression is injected the cooling liquid into the gas of the compressor inlet, droplets diffusion in the compressed gas to heat and mass transfer, droplet evaporation need to absorb much heat, so the gas is compressed at the same time the temperature has come down, resulting closer to isothermal compression process, so that the compressor power consumption is less than the adiabatic compression process. Significantly compressor outlet temperature is lower than not spraying. Inject water can also make the Nitrogen oxides in combustion products is reduced, reducing environmental pollution.In this paper, simulate wet compression process of water droplets in the compressor is used CFD software. It intercept two-dimensional model that the six stage compressor section. The model is divided into inlet region, channel region and outlet region. Data transfer is use of slip grid between the flow fields. Some work has been done as followed:1. Analysis of inlet temperature on compressor performance. This simulated the inlet temperature is 300K and 310K, the results show that in the case of temperature high, compressor pressure ratio is decrease, thus affecting the power output of gas turbine.2. Analysis of wet Compression on the compressor performance. when the intake air temperature in the 310K, this paper compares both do not spray and spray, the water droplet diameter is 10μm, water mass is the gas mass of 0.4%, the results show that the wet compression performance parameters is changed, lower blade surface static pressure and temperature, lower Mach number and total pressure distribution is more uniform etc.3. Analysis of Wet Compression on the blades. This paper simulation of a variety of water conditions, compared to different droplet diameter and water mass, the degree of erosion on the blade, the influence factors of water erosion. The results showed that the higher the intake air temperature, blade erosion small; water mass and droplet diameter is more and more the amount of blade erosion; the first stage blade suction has the largest erosion.4. Analysis of water erosion test. Test rig to simulate water droplets contained in the compressor air flow through the metal blade, testing needs to be a long time, after measurement the quality of Test pieces. The results show that the erosion surface is smoother after the test, the quality change is small, further research is needed. |
