In recent years, along with the rapid development of Chinese expressways and high-grade highways, highway tunnel construction has entered into a period of heyday. And thus provides higher standard and challenge to the highway tunnel construction technology. In the construction of highway tunnel, tunnel defect is inevitable, and various tunnel defects often occur to influence the safety and quality of highway tunnel. Focus on this issue, how to improve the supporting safety and structural stability, how to elevate the tunnel quality to meet the requirement of economic development is the main research aspects for this dissertation.The study focuses on the case of expressway pass tunnel from Dali to Lijiang, comparative analysis and summary for the IV rank wall rock typical section wall rock deformation and preliminary stage supporting lining structure carrying capability deformation situation is conducted. With modern tunnel construction and inspection method, comprehensive comparative analysis of tunnel defects is carried out. Geological condition of the defected tunnel and boundary parameters from numerical simulation of litho logical analysis are gained. Applying Ground Penetrating Radar equipment, later stage numerical simulation wall rock and shell deformation parameters are got by comparative analysis of defective tunnel wall rock deformation condition and early stage supporting destroying situation. Mechanics parameters are obtained from the tunnel construction monitoring of the wall rock stress and tunnel early stage supporting steel arch centre and spray-up concrete force situation. Finally FLAC3D numerical simulation is conducted by applying the above parameters into Mohr-Coulomb model, and to obtain the defective wall rock stress distribution condition, plastic deformation distribution level, tunnel early supporting force condition and deformation degree data. Furthermore to provide the tunnel wall rock stability analysis more effective methods. The dissertation combines theory with practice and can service the highway tunnel construction.
