The engine is the heart of car, each cylinder work uniformity differences can great effect of the car performance, fuel consumption and emission and noise index. For electronic-controlled engine, speed accurate measurement is one of the necessary conditions of high-performance electric control system. Such As use the crankshaft instantaneous speed control fuel balance of the electric control diesel engine. Meanwhile engine transient rotation speed also contains numerous information of the engine working process. Among them, research and application of the instantaneous speed of the internal combustion engine to diagnosis the faults relating to the gas pressure in the cylinder related fault, engine power performance testing and the detection and control of the each cylinder work uniformity of has become the domestic and foreign relevant research hotspot. However, the instantaneous speed can be further and extensive application in the above aspects, only which can be achieved higher quality. Therefore, conduct in-depth research of the instantaneous speed test technology and the instantaneous speed variation rules has important significance.On the basis of the understanding the present engine crankshaft instantaneous speed measuring method and challenge and master NI's software and hardware proposed based on virtual instrument of instantaneous angular speed measuring method the high pressure common rail diesel engine. Achieved based on virtual instrument directly A/D method, periodic take anti-french and the separate frequency these three methods of the high pressure common rail diesel engine instantaneous angular speed measuring system and every system contains signal disposal,digital filters, and data storage functions which realized by the software of Lab VIEW. This system is applied to instantaneous angular speed measurement of YN30CR high pressure common rail diesel engine, experiment shows that these instantaneous angular speed measuring system is correct.On the basis of the measured instantaneous angular speed of YN30CR high pressure common rail diesel engine, comparative analysis the instantaneous speed waveform figure of YN30CR high pressure common rail diesel engine under different working conditions shows that the two major factors which affect the engine's instantaneous angular speed:one is the average speed which related with diesel reciprocating inertia force, another is the diesel engine load related gas pressure in the cylinder. In setting the YN30CR high pressure common rail diesel engine fuel system fault and defines the characteristic parameters of the instantaneous angular angular speed, on the basis of fault state and compared the normal state of the instantaneous angular speed waveform figure, and the result shows that applied the instantaneous angular speed waveform of diesel engine detect the faults relating to the gas pressure in the cylinder is feasible.
