Bogie is a running gear with independent structure and could turn around relative to car-body, which is the important component element of the railway vehicle. The main function of bogie is supporting car-body and guiding the vehicle running on railway. It could ensure vehicle stable run by smoothing shock of track irregularities to vehicle. The Power Stabilizing Machine uses the structure of two-axle bogie. It is a special bogie of large track maintenance machinery, unlike the bogie of current coach and van in China, whose dynamics characteristics has a great impact on a Power Stabilizing Machine for running steadily and safely. Therefore, to research on the dynamics characteristics of a Power Stabilizing Machine bogie is meaningful.The mainly shock-absorb components of Power Stabilizing Machine bogie is rubber springs. This article establishes finite element model of side bearing rubber spring and with metal rubber spring of axlebox respectively based on ANSYS/LS-DYNA. the rationality of finite element models were verified by experimentation Additionally, the dynamic characteristics of side bearing rubber spring and metal rubber spring of axlebox are studied. Accordingly, the finite element model of Power Stabilizing Machine bogie was established, based on the finite element models of side bearing and metal rubber spring of axlebox.Based on the formula of track spectrum, this article uses the method of numerical simulation, solving inversely spectrum of the track. The data track irregularities was Obtained by MATLAB programming; Vibration excitation device was simulated by ADAMS to obtain horizontal vibration force which was loaded on bogie. The dynamic characteristics of bogie was studied by track irregularities excitation and operating condition.It is shown that:track gauge irregularities has a great effect on dynamics characteristics of bogie,under the track irregularities typical tondition;Transverse movement and nod movement has a significant impact on dynamics characteristics of bogie, under operating condition.
