With the development of social and economic, as a convenient and flexible way of transport, motorcycles had come into the people's daily lives, and had brought convenience to people, but had produced serious negative impact on environmental. The state issued strict emissions regulations for this problem. To implement the "Environmental Protection Law" and the "PRC Air Pollution Prevention Law", and reduce exhaust pollution and improve air quality, Ministry of Environmental Protection released a motorcycle National III standards in 2008, which made strict demands in standard for emission standards and fuel economy. For energy conservation and the development of industry, Domestic motorcycle manufacturers had began to seek a variety of technology solutions. The present situation, if the use of EFI technology will significantly increase the production costs of motorcycle and the manufacturing costs of increase bicycle. As a transitional product between traditional carburetor and EFI, electronically controlled carburetor (electronic control unit plus traditional carburetor) can save the cost of production, and lay a solid foundation for the use of EFI.Using a production of low cost Electronic Control units ECU (Electronic Control Unit) as hardware device, LabVIEW as software platform, and combing with the matching calibration of the motorcycle parameters such as valve opening, developed the system of motorcycle electric control carburetor match calibration in this paper. The main purposes are,1. Make levels of harmful gases in the pollutants do not exceed the National III standards.2. Reduce the assembly cost as much as possible.3. Make the system assembly easy, and the calibration process accuracy and reliability.The method of intaking control of division of labor conditions and constantly revised closed-loop air-fuel ratio control were proposed in the system by electronically controlling carburetor and catalytic converter combination of machine and the machine outside the clean energy technologies to achieve energy reduction. The technology make use of the ECU control the piezoelectric ceramic valve opening to achieve intaking, calibrating optimum air-fuel ratio on line, to reduce exhaust emissions of pollutants. The technique of machine outside means that the ternary catalytic converter also further processing of exhaust emissions and the harmful gases into harmless gases. The specific method is to calibrate the amount of different conditions of intaktion by using LabVIEW virtual instrument, constantly revise matching error between electronic control system and air-fuel ratio, determine the best calibration intakting opening, so that the various conditions of air-fuel ratio to achieve one of the most good value and reduce harmful gas emissions, catalytic converter catalytic conversion efficiency into full play.After completing the vehicle calibration of the single-cylinder motorcycles, mopeds and three-wheeled motorcycle, the emission test results showed that, electronically controlled carburetor carburetor electronic control system with catalytic converter can significantly lower the exhaust emissions carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxides, better meet the State III standards.
