Along with the development of the car industry, Brake pads scale production in our country, are on the rise.But at present, the domestic automobile brake shoes manufacturers still mainly depends on the traditional grinding methods in the pads machining. In different grinding process implemented gringding brake pads on different grinding machining, including direct chamfering, open middle chamfer, grinding plane, So machining accuracy and machining efficiency are low.Especially for brake pads of inclined chamfering grinding, use more will brake shoes mold support a required Angle, become grinding inclined chamfering for grinding plane method, although simplified grinding the difficulty of inclined chamfering, but each completed pads side of the grinding needs after workers will change the direction of grinding, brake pads, due to limited by the size of the grinding emery wheel may also processing time, around for two general pads processing efficiency is very low.This paper proposed one kind uses in the automobile brake lining abrasive machining specially based on the traditional grinding the automated beveler's design proposal, the design uses in placing brake lining's mold diverting device. USES the stepping motor driver placed pads mould device, thus turning an Angle oblique chamfering into whet the linear grinding ordinary. Meanwhile the grinding of brake shoes outside chamfering, grinding, opened in chamfering middle trough, coarse grinding plane and fine grinding plane, arrange to the same bar level work table. In order to simplify the grinding, the synchronous belt the difficulty of mould device of movement driven pads the relative motion realization grinding. Reuse fuzzy PID control theory, design PLC control system to realize the automatic grinding the whole process occurring processing, increasing the production efficiency.According to the actual demand, this paper factory automation chamfering machine was designed, and the overall system using 3d software to design Pro/E simulated, deepened to the traditional grinding mechanism, and expand the application range of the traditional grinding machine.
