Distribution Automation Strategy Research And The Application In Dalian

With the rapid growth of domestic electricity demand, the user of power quality and reliability have become increasingly demanding, local power company for the degree of automation with the new requirements. Distribution automation is a unified system that can monitor and manage the distribution equipment. It is a popular field and the modern computer technology and communication technology applications in the field of distribution network. Reasonable research of distribution automation strategy can effectively improve the distribution network reliability, power quality and further protect the interests of electricity supply and use.This article was completed when the author involved in distribution automation pilot project in Dalian Development Zone. This article described the theoretical significance of distribution automation research and development, analysis of distribution automation definition and the main features of the feeder automation of the basic principles and main means of communication. Then, the author investigated the distribution network and device status of pilot area, cleared the demand for the construction of distribution automation pilot. Next, the authors designed the program of distribution automation pilot area master station, 10 network structure, 10kV network device and distribution automation terminal; With the characteristics of each site location, the author designed the combination of EPON optical fiber, SGBRAS, PLC communication; Meanwhile, according to the feeder automation technology development and pilot of the actual situation, the paper proposed centralized master feeder automation and local-style feeder automation in the area that requiring high reliability of power supply to achieve the function of feeder automation.This paper used pilot area in Dalian Development Zone as an example, designed the construction of a distribution automation program. The designing program was under the guidance of my teachers and the help of experienced engineers. This paper provided a reference to the construction and research of urban distribution automation.
