In recent years, with the rapid economic level development in our country, the state pay more attention to the construction of power, rural and urban power grid have been modified,My country's power industry has a rapid development and has entered a new period of development. With the rapid economic development, the demand of electricity is increasing, some areas have emerged a situation of insufficient power supply, and even appeared in many provinces also limit power situation.Along with the development of the distributed power generation and new energy, small rural hydropower in distribution network is continuously increasing, and its role in the influence of distribution network is becoming more and more obvious. Small rural hydropower station directly operate hang nets, with dry wet hair caused when the Internet distribution network power distribution difference, and grid structure, operating voltage and load without a corresponding optimization and adjustment of distribution network, which increase 10kV distribution network'line loss.This thesis mainly studies the impact of the line losses when 10kV power distribution lines hang small hydropower, study on the the Internet in line loss of some distribution network theory, in-depth study line loss calculation method was put forward on the basis of suitable for a small hydropower hang nets operation of the distribution network theory loss calculation method -- the equivalent capacity method was improved. The basic idea is more reasonable choice of the feeder first loss calculation, and flexible choose to represent day and representative period. Calculating examples show the method in the paper to collect data input, data processing, and less of the workload of small, and also the small hydropower distribution network in the number of feeder and operation mode are no restrictions, so the method of this paper more in line with the actual circumstances; Still also analyses the causes of the high line loss and need to take the loss reduction measures.In order to make the power loss calculation become easier, according to the improvement of the equivalent capacity method and calculation model, choose to use Visual basic 6.0 localization version as development tools, preliminary development design out a loss calculation software. The software can be developed for distribution network related data entry, preservation and modification, and the theoretical loss calculation, with EXCEL form generation calculation results statements, still can the analysis of the results, along with data maintenance, the system's helps etc.There is great theoretical and practical significance to study on the impact of power loss on small rural hydropower.In the aspect of theory, power loss calculation method of comparative study, puts forward a more suitable for a small hydroelectric grid of distribution network loss calculation method; In practical applications, through the choice of calculation method, using the software design come fast compute distribution network theory to guide the line loss, distribution network design, planning, construction and renovation of distribution network power loss reduced, strengthen economic operation, saving energy grid aspects to have the important meaning.
