Arch tunnel is currently used in more of a relatively new tunnel structure, which tunnel with small spacing, as China is currently building the tunnel in the mountain area the ideal structure. It has a linear and smooth, large span, less restricted terrain, higherutilization of space characteristics. But as more of them appeared a type of bias in the application of arch tunnel is still the exploratory stage, the current lack of a comprehensive system of research, which led to the arch tunnel construction methods with the immaturity of the design theory , can not make the optimization designcombined with the theory. Arch tunnel due to the current construction of more and more in the western region, the bias arch tunnel appears more and more. Therefore,research in this area is particularly urgent. In this paper, the specific construction project, the bias in the arch tunnel wall structure in the mechanical analysis, andconstruction of the tunnel to do the optimization analysis process.This article first analyzes the arch tunnel in the development and summarizes its current use on the basis of the more common method of arch tunnel construction, andtheir characteristics were compared.Then the core of the current arch tunnel structure: the partition of the structural classification, the construction characteristics were summarized, compared.Xinkailing tunnel covered by the new highway opened in the tunnel as the research object, the use of midas / gts software to tunnel excavation process was simulated, divided under different excavation methods, changes in wall mechanical characteristics of partial summary Under pressure in the tunnel wall-arch mechanical form.Then, a construction method in the form of one of three pilot tunnel method werefurther analyzed by the bias of the tunnel has been simulated by the force, given the optimization of construction technology, combined with monitoring data measuredand compared .
