| The human society went into a new era in human society because of Industrial Revolution, which the material, the energy flow in the high speed. In such a fast-paced society, time has become one of effective driving force of forming the spatial order. The development of transportation put more emphasis on time and cost, the problem of the transportation development is increasingly considered as the problem of time distance. Many organization and occurrence of social activities in modern society is according to schedule or plan, thus affecting the order of spatial structure. Time-Space Convergence Effect which causes a series of changes in the economic activities of human society is changing and will continue to change the world.After reforming and opening-up policy was carried out, transport of Fujian Province has developed rapidly. Roads gradually spread, a number of highways have been put into use. In national policy and investment support, the construction of traffic in Fujian Province ushered a climax. A complete province's integrated transport system and rapid contact between the cities of west side of the Taiwan Straits is formed.On this occasion the great development of transportation, the postgraduate dissertation researched space-time convergence and its effect based on the review and analysis the study on time distance home and abroad. Converted the time distance into spatial, visualized time distance by use of GIS techniques, drawed the time-distance map of transport hubs, it evaluated and analyzed the role of space-time convergence. Then it analyzed the possible trends of TSC and made suggestions on controlling the negative impact by the develop direction of transportation. |
