Submarine is a impotent component of the navy. Due to the need of taking a long time in the underwater mission, dynamic anti-sinking capability of submarines is very impotent when the submarines are damaged and needed emergency surfacing. As a traditional blowing method, pneumatic blowing system is only applicable for shallow depth blow-off. In order to improve the safety of submarines, Propellant gas generator is used as a gas generator for deep emergency blowing of the submarine's ballast tanks, which gives a new approach to solve anti-sinking problems. In this paper, firstly, the equation of temperature, pressure and gas volume fraction over time was established based on the theory analysis of propellant gas blowing submarine ballast tanks, a program was written According to fourth-order Runge-Kutta Method, the efficiency and the rules of the system under different working condition were mastered. Secondly, k-εtwo-equation turbulence model and VOF method for tracing gas-liquid interface are used to simulate the progress of propellant gas blowing of submarine ballast tanks in different depth. Flowing details during the process, parameters distributing in the flow flied, and the liquid surface deformation are given by simulating. And the reasons of different effect between different plan are analyzed, The simulation results can be used to direct the design of the propellant gas blowing system.
