For the complexity of the marine environment and multi-path effect, time reversal mirror (TRM) is a new technique which can self-adaptively correct distortion caused by variety of multi-path effects, then detect and locate the target. In this paper, multiple underwater moving targets passive location algorithm based on TRM has been studied, with the method of TRM, array signal processing and high-resolution location algorithm.First, array signal processing method and the development of TMR in the field of underwater acoustic home and abroad will be reviewed. After researching the principle of conventional vertical array passive time reversal mirror, proposed a high-resolution location technology, which will realize the focus on original position of multiple objectives with higher spatial resolution and focus gain than conventional methods. Due to the poor robustness of high-resolution, robustness time reversal minimum variance distortionless response (MVDR) algorithm based on fixed diagonal loading and robust capon beamforming (RCB) has been studied, which can improve the robustness of high-resolution location. And Pool and sea trial data processing results show the feasibility of high-resolution passive location algorithm and the robustness of improved time reversal MVDR.After researching the location technology, doppler change models and the impact on received signal caused by moving targets, the conclusion is that, in this situation, the received signals from different paths have different doppler coefficients. Simulation results show that, TRM algorithm can locate two moving targets.In order to put this high-resolution algorithm into practice and meet engineering needs, MVDR parallel signal processing has been realized on multi-core computer environment, with parallel application framework based on MPI, simulation results show that the optimized parallel time reversal MVDR algorithm will realize target location, while saving computation time.
