As one of the major combat weapons of naval ships, naval gun has been important at all times from the date of birth, especially the large-caliber guns has been playing an irreplaceable role in the anti-ship warfare, land attacks and air defense. With the progress of modern military technology, the changes of naval strategic thinking and sea battle modes, countries put forward higher requirements on large caliber naval gun especially automation magazines. Traditional automation magazines are very difficult to meet larger-caliber gun operational requirements of the future, now there is an urgent need to study automation magazines, which have a large load of bombs, can store various types of ammunition in compatibility, can transfer ammunition safely and fast.On the basis of collecting a large number of domestic and foreign naval guns information, types of larger caliber naval guns automation magazines and technologies of stereoscopic warehouse were synthesized in this paper, then a new concept of double-layer stereoscopic magazine was proposed, according to magazines'design criteria three magazine programs was proposed, the three programs were evaluated and analyzed with AHP, and the optimal program was selected. Then the mechanism designs of the bidirectional accessing cart were maked, the cart's parameters were gave, the cart's action sequential were designed, the cart's security measures were constructed, and the 3D model of the double-layer stereoscopic magazine were established with Pro/E in this paper.The Finite Element Method was used in this paper, the modal analysis of the cart's was maked with ANSYS, its structure vibration characteristics were determined; the mechanics theories were used to have the deflection calculation of the three-level telescopic boom, and the 3D model was imported into ANSYS to be divided the mesh, then the simulation analysis of the deflection be maked, it proved that structural strength was in line with the requirements.The kinematic theories were used in this paper to establish the kinematic mathematical model of the three-level telescopic boom, the boom's position, velocity and acceleration were analyzed, the velocity jacobian matrix was obtained, and the boom's singular configuration were analyzed. Then the Lagrangian method were used to establish the dynamic mathematical model of the three-level telescopic boom, the expression of power input devices'driving force and torque were obtained.The virtual prototype of the three-level telescopic boom was built in this paper, and simulations of kinematics and dynamics were maked with RecurDyn, the simulation results were analyzed, it verified that the mechanism was reasonable.
