In this paper, the ship noise source system mainly consists of radio, PC/104 industrial control computer(PC/104 IPC), data acquisition board, signal transmission board, relay boards, storage equipment, power amplifiers, matching networks, composed of electro-acoustic transducer. The communication between this system and remote control terminal is achieved by radio.PC/104 IPC is control module of the ship-borne noise source system.PC/104 IPC receives instructions form radio and sends the status information of the system to the radio through its serial port. According to different instructions that serial port received,PC/104 industrial computer control the system of shipboard noise sources to achieve the main features as followed:According instructions from remote control terminal, this system to transmit the specified forms of acoustic signal, and the signal can be simulated ship noise or single frequency signal; PC/104 IPC read the file which is the pre-wave signal from storage devices and storage the data to storage devices; PC/104 IPC can control the relay switch to control power amplifier work, when does not require power amplifier working, PC/104 IPC turn off the power amplifier power to extend the use of time.The system of ship noise source design includes hardware design and software design. The hardware design is PC/104,FPGA and D/A converter circuit composed of signal transmission modules. The software design includes C language programming of PC/104 IPC and VHDL programming of FPGA. The system has been the actual sea trials, the results show that this system is reliable and the program stable.
