Among the many measures of construction reinforcement, grouting technique has been applied to the foundation reinforcement in complex geological conditions. Its development and wide application have opened up new ideas for solving the problems in the civil engineering sector, so the dream of "changing soil into stone" is no longer a myth.With the rapid development of grouting technique, it has been a new direction of the development. It can fully exert the advantages of a variety of grouting, and mingle kinds of structures together. Thereby it is an advantaged and comprehensive grouting technology which can attain the maximal applicability stratum range and best reinforcement effect, and can assure security and economy of reinforcement.Firstly, this paper summarizes the development and application of grouting technology at home and abroad, sums up and analyzes the related theoretical achievements. Otherwise, it makes a detailed conclusion on the concept, characteristics and the application in Geotechnical Engineering of the united grouting.Besides, combining with a specific engineering project, it carries out a large number of "the factors of the solidified body diameter" field tests. Through the tests we can conclude the optimal parameters combination of the design. To verify the effect of united grouting, starting from laboratory test, we launched a series of mechanical properties tests of solidified body, and got many regression equations which are used to judge grouting solidified body's strength. Above content provides the theoretical basis and technical support for the application of united grouting.Secondly, after the analysis of the test, it needs to analyze the whole united grouting structure. Combining with finite difference method, the paper uses FLAC3D software to simulate and analyze united grouting. On the one hand, through much comparative analysis of schemes, we get the optimal solution which is "arch dam+Ⅰ-beam+channel steel" structure of the united grouting in this project. On the other hand, the result of simulation provides the basis for judging the engineering grouting effect in the similar practical projects.Finally, the research shows that the united grouting in the foundation reinforcement of this project has good adaptability and can get better economic and secure benefits. It can prove that the united grouting has certain feasibility and application value in the similar programmes.
