In the automatic processing and assembly systems, parts are widely used during theprocess of automatically directed feeding in electromagnetic vibrating hopper; however,the directional mechanism of electromagnetic vibrating hopper is designed according tothe parts' pose, therefore, a study on parts' pose under static and dynamic conditions willbe instructive to the design of the directional mechanism of electromagnetic vibratinghopper.In this thesis, through a study of the probability distribution of parts' natural posesduring the process of electromagnetic vibration feeding, the author establishes a posestability coefficient model to predict the probability of parts' natural poses. Through theanalysis of theory and experimental statistics, the relationship between the parts' naturalpose' probability and its geometrical contact area and the distance of center of gravity isfigured out. Through a comparison of the centroid solid angle and the barrier model, wefind out that the latter is simple and rapid in calculation and reliable in performance.Through the theoretical analysis and simulation, an investigation of the changes of theparts' poses in electromagnetic vibration feeding is put forward and then, we analyze theinfluencing law of the electromagnetic vibrating hopper's amplitudes to the parts' poseand the differences of the parts' pose under static and dynamic condition, whicheventually, will provide a theoretical basis for the design of the directional mechanism ofelectromagnetic vibrating hopper, the reduction of the auxiliary machinery processingtime and the improvement of the efficiency of the feeding process.
