Study On The Construction Methods Of Exterior Greening Wall In The Summer Hot Area

Exterior greening wall of the building has became one of the important means which can repair cracks between hunman race and nature in cities. It can not only beautify the buildings and the city, increase the greening rate; also improve the microenvironment, refresh air and reduce the urban heat island effect. However, the present study of exterior greening wall is not comprehensive, there has no specific technical specifications for the greening wall, rarely discussions from the perspective of the construction methods to explore the greening wall.In this paper, the construction methods of exterior green walls is identified as the research object,and the construction methods of the exterior greening walls are divided into five large types and eight small species.Through the research methods of field research, expert interviews, data access, experimental testing, and computer simulations,a qualitative and quantitative research is carried out about these eight exterior greening walls species at three aspects:the constructive components;construction and plants;construction and environment,and plenty of projects are involved in the progress of research to analyse the strengths and weaknesse of these species.Finally, on the basis of comprehensive analysis, these eight exterior greening wall species are horizontal compared in five fields:first:,constructive weight and applicable building;second, cost and maintenance;third,plants selection;forth, appearance and the speed of the wall covering;fifth,cooling effect and the distance from the wall.And through the way of score rating,the strengths and weaknesse can be more intuitive to determine, it is concluded: Hydroponics and Pot one exterior greening wall has a better overall performance than others;Biological wall and Stratified exterior greening wall has a unsatisfied overall performance;besides,the suitable exterior greening wall species are summarized for different needs and under different conditions. Finally, the strengths and weaknesse of each species are analysed for giving improvements and looking to its future development.
