In order to retrieve the regolith thickness from the measurement by Chang'E-1(CE-1) microwave radiometer, we have to process the CE-1 scientific data. This paper introduces a data pre-processing method, procedures and analysis of the CE-1 observed brightness temperature data. Firstly, CE-1 scientific data are read from the data files. Then the CE-1 microwave data are stored in the matrix, by setting the threshold, the abnormal data of the 4-channel are identified, there are three kinds of abnormal data, These data should be removed. and the causes of abnormal data are analyzed. At last, after getting rid of the abnormal data, the time-normalization method is adopted to simulated and observed TBs into TBs at noon. And the comparison between the simulated and the observed brightness temperature with the lunar diurnal variations was done. Finally, the suggestions for further work are put forward. The results show that the abnormal data are mainly the TBs at the polar areas. the Time-normalized observed brightness temperature and simulated brightness temperature have a consistent trend, that is, the highest brightness temperature in the equatorial region, and reduced to the polar regions. Simulated brightness temperature and the observed brightness with the lunar diurnal variations also have the same trend, that is, The same peak brightness temperature at the same time.
