Energy and environmental problems have been the most serious issue facing humanity in the society of today. That wind power generation is a kind of clean renewable energy,it has no environmental pollution,and technology is mature,stand-alone capacity is big,the construction cycle is short,so it is completely one kind of safe reliable sources of energy.For the entire wind power system , control technology is the key unit of efficient and stable operation, the yaw system is an important controlling part of the horizontal axis wind-driven generator system. This paper carries on the corresponding research. Compare with traditional control tactics, wind power generation system can gain satisfactory results with application of intelligent control theory.Firstly, this paper studies wind turbine generators, introduces the structure and function, and then detailed researches on the yaw control system component and work principle. Passive windward yaw system used for small wind power systems, and large wind power systems used more active to wind yaw control. The signals of these controller are all from the wind direction sensor. Because wind direction sensor locate leeward, it will be influenced by wind fluctuating, at the same time, the precision of wind direction sensor is not high. Thereby, the control signal is against realistic signal and the precision windward is not accurate. From economic angle, this paper determines the fuzzy control and power control combined control strategy, and designs the controller, gives the program flowcharts, puts more than 15°wind changing range using fuzzy control, and in less than 15°range is used without using wind-direction sensors power control algorithm.This paper gives 1.5mw level of wind power group yaw motor calculation method and selection. With Matlab/ Simulink verified the feasibility and effectiveness of this method.
