With the development of science and technology and communication, due to theirconvenient construction, economical cost, reasonable force character and comfortable driving,pre-stressed continuous beam bridge have made a rapid progress in recent years, and becomeone of the most competitive bridge types. Among the several kinds of regular constructionmethods of beam bridge, the method of the simply supported-continuous construction is akind of effective and economical one, compared with the pre-stressed continuous beam bridge,its cost is much lower, and it is a kind of more excellent construction methods.It overcomes the fracture of the joint only with the ordinary steel, and the non-harmonyissue of the strain and stress between the structures under different force. It also strengthensthe stress store of the joint between the beams, and assures the continuous and wholecapability of the bridge.The main content of this paper is generalized as follows:1. The basic theory of Simple supported-continuous bridge. Analyze the factors of thesecondary internal forces and the redistribution of he secondary internal forces, the factorsincluding pre-tension, pier foundation settlement, temperature changes and so on. Study thecalculation principle for the internal force of dead load and live load, and came to theconclusion that will take some guidance of future construction and the design.2. Theoretieal computing method and numerical simulated calculation. Using theory ofstructure intensity and prestressed concrete bridge,this paper reviews theoretical computingmethod of stress and defieetion. Making use of the Procedure of computing bridge structure,the structure of simply supported-continuous system is calculated and the result is analyzed,the character on force and deflection is generalized in the paper.3. Approach design method and construction technology. Discuss bridge structure designand construction in aspect of concrete material,prestress design and technology of stretchingreinforced bar. Make the structural optimization of the simple supported-continuous bridge.
