As an important airport ground supportent equipment, airplane tractor is used for towing or pushing various airplanes on the ground. With using of airplane towing tractor for moving airplane, not only the fuel of airplane is saved but also the pollution of noise and exhausted gas is reduced. Otherwise, the airplane engine is not vulnerable to be weared. There is an unique mechanism installed in the chassis of Rod-less airplane tractor, which is useed for clamping and lifting the airplane wheels, the tractor will tow or push the airplane after that. For its special structure, performance analysis of the whole structure is very important.Based on the modeling and simulation analyzed, study the performance of the airplane tractor, the paper analyzed both kinematics and dynamics of clamping and lifting mechanism,after the finite element analyzed overall structure model of frame, the vehicle ride comfort and handling stability were analyzed. First, setting up a three-dimensional model of the towing tractor by UG-NX4.0 software according to the design requires; second, importing the clamping and lifting mechanism model into ADAMS/VIEW software by the form of parasolid,the dynamic simulation of the model was achieved to get the kinematics and dynamics curve including displacement, angle and force curve, that show the smooth movement of the lifting mechanism and the rationality of hydraulic cylinder.The third, importing the frame model into ANSYS software by the form of CATIA. Obtained displacement and stress figure of contour nodal through the static strength analysis verify the strength of the frame. Obtained natural frequency and natural formation of frame through dynamic modal analysis which will be combined with the natural frequency of the engine calculated to give the basis to optimize and improve the structure of the working device and frame or vibration-control system and vibration isolation further in the future. The last, importing the airplane towing tractor model into ADAMS software, choose the right tire and the road file file to calculate the steering parameters of the tractor, and study the ride comfort and handling stability to found center of mass acceleration vibration curve and steering track curves. By the analysis and comparison with national standards, the ride comfort and handling stability are proved to be good. |
